Christie is the Brazilian-born granddaughter of a celebrated Capoeira master. Her actual teacher was Eddy Gordo, a pupil of her grandfather who was in prison when he swore to teach Christie the art. After only two years of lessons, she became an apt fighter and entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 in order to track down Eddy, who had disappeared shortly after he finished teaching her. After finding Eddy, her grandfather came down with a mysterious illness that could supposedly be cured if research was done by the Mishima Zaibatsu. In order to gain the technology necessary, she entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 to win the corporation.
She’s a lively girl who isn’t afraid to flirt, and uses her attractive body to her advantage. An amazing sense of humor is one of her many traits, along with intelligence and a kick-ass sarcastic wit. This bombshell isn’t afraid to brawl, and has been known to get into street fights to earn a little extra cash or just for fun. She’ll sometimes be seen dancing in the park or just randomly down the street, even if there isn’t any music. To her shoes are overrated and barefoot is the way to go. If she has to wear footwear, it’s mostly just sandals or flip-flops so that she can easily kick them off when she wants to. Her choice in clothing has been known to raise a few eyebrows, as her outfits are usually form-fitting and revealing. She hardly ever wears regular shirts, preferring bikini tops and halter tops to flaunt her assets. And she likes shiny things, which is probably the reason for her metallic purple pants.
